Infrastructure
Every day, 50 kilometres of newly-built national highways appear across India. Abundant new real estate opportunities are presenting themselves along the new ports, roadways and waterways that are rapidly appearing across the world's most populous nation. "A huge amount of advisory opportunities lie in infrastructure advisory. We are perhaps one of the few real estate professionals who have a large, substantial infrastructure advisory division," shares Shishir.
Office
Office leasing in India reached a high in December 2019 with a gross absorption of 60 million square feet, a figure which would dip to under 40 million during the pandemic before bouncing back to 50 million in 2022 — with 2023 expected to perform even better.
Industrial
The logistics and warehousing business is expanding rapidly across the country in both major cities and small towns alike, creating large amounts of interest and massive opportunity for international players wanting to enter the business. While warehousing in other countries have reached a mature state, India is "still at the tip of the iceberg," says Shishir.
